Original Project - Unit 5

I will attach it in an email to my partner for testing. Chatchada, please post your comments here.=)

My audience is my 9th grade students in my English class. They really struggle with revision and editing. When I ask them to revise, they usually edit. I have added some specific suggestions/mistakes that are common to 9th graders. It's kind of boring, and maybe overwhelming??? Have I added too much stuff? Should I take out the questions and the suggestions and just leave the topics? It doesn't look very appealing.

Hi Dawn,
Sorry for this delay.
Well I think what you have here look fine to me. I like when you make a table to separate between Revising and Editing. Also, I like the way you ask students on each title that you could gain students' attentions rather than telling them what to do directly.
However, it might be a lot of detail for 9th grade students to remember them all at once.
This is just a thought. First, if you could break Revising/Editing and their explanations into different lines and then move the Revising/Editing to the middle of boxes. I think they both would look more outstanding. Second, it would be better if you could add some color on this paper which is opposite/contrast to each other, for example, black and white. If you have the Revising part on white, the text should be black and what if you have Editing on black, the text should be white. Third, providing bullet on each of questions could break them into simply readable pieces. I'm not sure whether it makes sense to you. Again, for your detail, if you could find anything that has similar meaning, I think you should combine them into the same sentence. Please feel free if you have any questions. I hope this might help you somehow.

Hi Dawn,
For more clarification on my previous comments, on the second suggestion, I mean that if you can have Revising and Editing in different colors, for example, if you have Revising in white (with black text), so that you might need to have Editing in black (with white text). I'm really sorry if this might cause any confusion to you.
